His crew chief is already up on the wing to get the first report of how the show went, and more importantly, to ask whether pilots had any "squawks" on the aircraft. He comes to rest after a mission in late evening 1945. His plane is 'Tar Baby' serial 44-15056, desig'n 'PI-W' formerly the mount of Capt. J. Crump and previously named 'Lorraine'. **
